Launch of a workshop and campaign on social activism and ESO activism

Organization of European studies

The Organization for European Studies (ESO) at the University of Malta is proud to announce the launch of the ESO Social Activism and Activism Workshop and Campaign which will take place in the Common Room KSU PwC on November 6 and 13.

This workshop is designed for all students who want to improve their public speaking skills and learn what it takes to run a successful activism campaign with people with real experience in this field.

Each day of the event will be dedicated to public speaking and activism respectively. The two days will include lectures and workshops on these areas. A lunch will also be offered, giving participants the opportunity to network.

To close this event, there will be a panel discussion titled “The State of Activism in Malta” with representatives from some of the country’s best-known activist and student groups. This will be moderated by ESO’s Social Policy Officer, Amy Mallia. All participants are invited to intervene with their own questions on the subject.

We encourage all university students with a passion for public speaking and student activism to attend this workshop and look forward to meeting everyone on both days, as ESO has a very exciting lineup planned for all participants – from Jon Mallia at University of Malta Associate Professor and Head of Media and Communications Department Gorg Mallia, and much more.
